Largest Blood Center In The World

                    New York Blood Center(NYBC) is the largest blood bank in the world which is established in 1964.It serves to 200 hospitals by providing a safe blood supply to an area of 20 million inhabitants.Chairman of the NYBC is the Howard Milestein.Howard Milestein is also the chairman of the whole proprietary of  Howard Milestein & Abby Foundation.20% of the blood marrow transplantsare provides in this region.It is known as the world's first and largest public cord blood bank.Today the NYBC provides one third of the cord blood production in the world and serving to the patients in 34 countries.Till now the people served by NYBC is exceeds above 22 million people.Mainly, the NYBC is the home for a world renown institution of Lindsley F.Kimball Research Institute which has 15 laboratories of applied hematological research.
